1. Secure Connections

All communication between your browser and the Neighbrr platform is encrypted using HTTPS. Before entering any personal information or completing a payment, always verify that you are on a genuine Neighbrr page by checking:

• The padlock icon is visible in your browser's address bar.
• The URL begins with https://.
• The domain reads neighbrr.com and not a variation or lookalike address.

If anything appears unusual or unfamiliar, do not proceed. Contact us immediately at customer@neighbrr.com.

2. Your Neighbrr Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. To protect your account, we recommend the following:

• Choose a strong password of at least 12 characters, using a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.
• Do not reuse your Neighbrr password on other websites or services.
• Use a reputable password manager to generate and store strong, unique passwords.
• Log out of Neighbrr when using a shared or public device.
• Change your password promptly if you suspect it has been compromised.

Neighbrr will never ask for your password via email, chat, telephone, or any other channel. If you receive a request for your password or login details claiming to be from Neighbrr, please report it to admin@neighbrr.com immediately.

3. Payment Security

All payments on Neighbrr are processed by our regulated payment provider, who applies their own security standards and controls to protect your payment and identity data. Neighbrr does not store your bank account details or payment credentials on our own servers.

Rental funds are held in escrow by our payment provider for the duration of the rental period, providing protection for both renters and owners until the transaction is successfully completed. This ensures that neither party can access the funds prematurely and that disputes can be handled fairly.

4. Keep Your Software Up to Date

We recommend keeping your browser, operating system, and any applications you use to access Neighbrr updated to their latest versions. Software developers regularly release updates that include patches for newly discovered security vulnerabilities. Running outdated software increases your exposure to known security risks.

This applies to the device you use to log in to Neighbrr, not just the browser itself. Ensure that your operating system's automatic updates are enabled where possible.

5. Beware of Phishing

Phishing is an attempt by malicious actors to obtain your login credentials or personal information by impersonating a trusted service. Be cautious of:

• Emails or messages claiming to be from Neighbrr that ask you to click a link and log in urgently.
• Requests to verify your account, confirm a payment, or resolve a dispute via a link sent outside the Neighbrr platform.
• Communications asking for personal information that Neighbrr would already hold.

When in doubt, navigate directly to neighbrr.com by typing it into your browser rather than following a link in a message.

6. Our Infrastructure

Neighbrr stores all personal data on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA), in compliance with GDPR requirements. We implement technical and organisational security measures including:

• Encryption of all data in transit using TLS.
• Strict access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only.

• Secure credential management with no plaintext password storage.

7. Reporting Security Concerns
